A series called 'old'

Shot on my iPhone at my mom's shop in Maplewood, NJ.

New York via iphone

I will admit. I have been lazy when it comes to taking proper photographs. Since getting the new iPhone 4s in November, I've used my proper digital camera much less with the exception of shooting for my thesis. Although I'v been lazy about using my Nikon, I have not been lazy about taking pictures. The wonderful thing about the iPhone is the fact that I always have it and I have become an active user of the app "instagram". It could be described as 'Facebook' for photos. I have a network of photographer friends,  other friends, and perfect strangers from all over the world. It is awesome looking at the photos that show up every day, and it is equally awesome sharing my own every day. Since I've started using this app, I have been more actively 'looking' for photographs throughout the day. It's keeping my eye sharp and keeping my mind set in the visual world. So for the next couple posts I will share some of my iPhone/instagram photos. I hope you enjoy them just as much as my other photographs.

The first set will be from New York.
